Why the circle invited me

the theory of curves and dimension theory

Karl Menger

pp. 38-53

Abstract

As Hahn had indicated, Schlick, Carnap and he himself wanted me to attend the meetings of the Circle because they were interested in the methodology of my work on curves and dimension. On several occasions, these matters came up in discussions of the Circle and they have been referred to in the writings of Carnap and Popper.
